Concept2 Ranking
What is Concept2 Ranking?
Concept2 maintains an online ranking system (log.concept2.com) where rowers worldwide submit ergometer results for standard distances (500m, 1000m, 2000m, 5000m, 6000m, 10,000m, half marathon, marathon) and time-based pieces (1, 4, 30, 60 minutes). Results are categorised by season (September-May), gender, age group (in 5-year brackets), and weight category (lightweight/heavyweight). The rankings provide a global benchmark for indoor rowing performance. Verified results require specific memory upload from the PM5 monitor. The Concept2 ranking is widely used to set goals, track progress against peers, and qualify for events like the Crash-B Sprints (now C.R.A.S.H.-B. World Indoor Rowing Championships).
